The SweaterGirls love to knit, and we are taking knitting on the road. We are the first and only knitting school and knitting supply shop that travels around in a 1955 Terry Trailer. We have a passion for handcrafting and community, and we will bring our kitschy little trailer all over town.

I am a knitting enthusiast. It wasn't always like that - my first projects produced tears and frustration. Some projects even flew across the room.  What changed you ask? Well, I learned mistakes were going to happen and the only way to approach knitting without fear was to make the choice to live with mistakes or tear out a few rows and learn to put the stitches back on the needle. I realized the worst that could happen would be that I would have to start all over. That, however, presented another splendid opportunity to work with a lovely yarn. At least that is what I would tell myself.
I reside near Old Town with 2 kids, a husband and 5 chickens.

I learned to knit eight years ago, and since that first knitting lesson I have always had at  least one, but usually multiple projects, on my needles. I truly believe there is an immeasurable value in passing down handcrafting skills from one generation to the next. I also believe that being a knitter just helps make you a better person, and can help give you really dry cuticles.
I live between a river and a mountain with my husband, children, dogs and one tiny frog.
